Meet the New ERSO 1030FB Business Card Slitter which was developed specifically for Southwest. This is the first machine of its class to be able to accommodate 4 different stock sizes: 8.5” x 11”, 11” x 17”, 12” x 18” and 13” x 19” with full bleeds. The two pass system allows for easy and quick adjustments between sizes and perfectly square business cards each time.
This machine came to be when one of our customers had a need for a business card slitter which could accommodate multiple sized sheets with gutter cuts. Our service team and sales representatives worked directly with ERSO to come up with this solution that is truly one of a kind. The customer who received the first machine was Morrie Portnoff of Nunavik Graphics. Here is what he had to say:
“Over the years Southwest Binding has become a partner in my company’s success. The Montreal Southwest Team of Greg and Joe have always been here to solve my print production needs. In fact we joke that my production room looks like a Southwest showroom. My most recent acquisition was the Erso 1030 (modified) business card slitter. It is a solidly constructed machine that should prove invaluable in the production of a quality product which my clients expect. In fact my first run of 2,500 cards (on 16pt card stock) proved to be effortless and more importantly, the end product was very consistent in the quality of the slitting.”*
